Myers Country Inn B & B

In the heart of the Avenue of the Giants, surrounded by the Humboldt Redwoods Park and Rockefeller Forest.

When you first step into the lobby of the Myers Country Inn, you're struck by a "something" -- a feeling -- you can't quite put your finger on. The decor is a part of it, certainly. Your mind quickly takes in the rich heritage of family heirlooms, antique dolls, turn-of-the-century photographs, the fireplace on the left, the meticulous woodwork and wall decorations. But it's more than just the assemblage of collectibles that you're sensing. There's a "warm" and "inviting" feeling to the place.

All the rooms are light, airy, and impeccably clean.  Each has its own private bathroom and air conditioning.  All have writing desks and TVs.  Most have doorways out to our verandas. Each of our ten bedrooms is different from all the others. Some have king-sized beds, some have two twin beds, some sleep three people, and so on.

Tell us how many people in your group, and what kind of sleeping arrangements you want, and we'll take care of you. We can make arrangements for flowers, champagne, candy or other goodies for special birthdays, honeymoons and anniversaries. We can also arrange gift certificates for your friends.

While you are here, spend the day driving the scenic Avenue of the Giants or the Lost Cost loop, hiking the redwoods, or fishing in the streams. When your day is over, return back to the Myers Country Inn Bed and Breakfast and enjoy the sunset from the veranda. Enjoy a game of chess in front of the fireplace in the parlor, or read about the history of Myers Flat and the great redwood forests of Humboldt County.

Myers Country Inn is also an easy drive to the Victorian Village of Ferndale and the historic old town of Eureka. A short travel south brings you to Garberville and Shelter Cove.
