Bill Morrill, creator of 101 Milestones, moved to Humboldt County in 1972. He is a direct descendant of pioneers Joseph and Zipporah Russ, and his family still owns Fern Cottage, their ancestral property. He writes and produces the series created the original theme music. Bill also restored the featured 54 Buick convertible seen throughout the series.
