Klamath River Lodge

One of the best special fishing resorts on the Kamath River.

The Klamath River Lodge was built in the 1930s out of massive Redwood timbers and  immediately took its place as one the best of the special fishing resorts which dotted the Klamath River.  

The secluded housekeeping cottages and a lodge apartment are located on beautiful grounds, just four miles down river from Orleans.     Directions:  We are located four miles down river from Orleans, California on Hwy 96 on the North side of the Klamath River.

Cabins can accommodate up to 5 people The lodge apartment accommodates up to 8 people. Swimming pool and cabana with large lawn area 

Wildlife is abundant and it's not unusual to see otter, geese, osprey, bear, and even bald eagles. More then 300 species of birds inhabit the area. 

Nearby: Marble Mountains, Trinity Alps, and Siskiyou Wilderness area. The region has scores of high country lakes and miles of remote trails.

Orleans has a surprising amount of services for its size, including restaurants, motels, museum, gas station, deli, laundromat, grocery stores, RV parks and more.    

The area is now famous for its salmon and steelhead fishing and for some of the best whitewater rafting & kayaking.
