Take a snack or meal break at the Palm Cafe & Motel, or The Snack Shack and the Oreq Coffee Shop.
Go on an adventure: Kayaking with Kayak Zak's, River rafting down the Redwood Creek with Redwood River Trips. Horseback riding tours with RedwoodAdventures or Redwood Creek Buckarettes. Go horseback riding in the redwoods and camp with your horse at the Orick Rodeo Grounds (707-488-2885 for reservations).
Visit, hike, camp or picnic in the redwoods - Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, a partner in the Redwoods State and National Park System, maintains hiking trails of varying degree of difficulty, ranging from short and flat to long, with winding hills or sharp climbs and descents, to accommodate the preferences of visitors.
