Our elegant Shaw Suite is a perfect room for the most special of occasions. The "Master Bedroom" of the house has been given to honeymooners since the 1860s. Its builder, Seth Shaw, performed marriage ceremonies in the house and the newlyweds were ushered upstairs to sleep in a huge four-poster feather bed under the 20 foot vaulted ceiling. The suite's cozy fireplace keeps romance warm. A few nights spent in the Shaw Suite are definitely a time-honored tradition.
