There comes a time in this galaxy when all intergalactic species must come together for a higher purpose

The best time to visit the town of Bridgeville is in August when the old bridge span swarms with flying saucers, extraterrestrials and curious humanoids for Bridgefest. Space Alien teams hoist homemade crafts over the bridge during the famed Flying Saucer Contest, earning points for distance, accuracy, style and looks.

Take in the scenery, browse beautiful locally crafted arts and crafts or just bask in the sun at the 20th annual BridgeFest located in scenic Bridgeville CA.

We will have live music all day and fun for the whole family is on the menu as well as "out of this world" blueberry pies and an all American BBQ put on to benefit the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Company.

Please call the Bridgeville Community Center at 707-777-1775 of go to website for more information.

About historic bridge and Bridgeville

A wider bridge built about ten years ago now connects State Route 36 over the Van Duzen River in Bridgeville, a small mountain town 25 miles from Hwy 101, best known for being for sale on eBay. But the retired bridge still offers pedestrians great views of the mountains and the wild and scenic Van Duzen River below. Ask politely and you may find tips for excellent local swimming holes.

Located at Bridgeville Elementary School, at 38717 Kneeland Road, off Highway 36.

Directions: At US hwy 101 take State Hwy 36 East for 24 miles. Park and walk 1.5 blocks to Old Bridgeville Bridge, or turn left onto Kneeland Road to find street parking, we also have parking available at the school which is about 2 blocks past the bridge.
